This website is dedicated to the professional men and women who boldly protect the lives, property and constitutional rights of the  residents  of Costa Mesa.  We hope the members of  the Costa Mesa Police Association (CMPA), and of our great community, find this website helpful and informative.  CMPA  would like for this website to serve as a tool to facilitate the effective means of communication between  our valued  police officer  Members and the community we serve.

Our goal as an Association is to make sure our membership receives  the tools it needs to better serve and protect the public, our children, businesses, homes, property and dreams for a better future for our families.  Cornerstone to this are the issues of: 

Ensuring there are correct and tough-on-crime laws enacted and enforced at the local, state and federal levels of government.
 
Competitive compensation for our Members from the City of Costa Mesa to recruit and retain the best and brightest Officers to do a difficult, stressful and many times very dangerous job.

Ensure the equipment, standards and training are there to protect and enhance your police force in our great city.
 
Maintain and enhance an attractive and fair  benefits, medical and educational programs for our membership and attract new Officers to a very busy competitive environment with respect to other cities, counties and states who try to out perform Costa Mesa.
 
Enhance the dialog and communication with our elected Officials and community we serve. 

All of these mentioned, and more, allow our members to work in an environment that promotes opportunities, social relationships and overall well-being.  Our membership strives to provide the excellence in police services by maintaining an environment that draws the best available police officers to safeguard the rights of each  resident in Costa Mesa.  When you pick up the phone or need our services, you want a quick response time and a smart, motivated Officer of the Law to respond.  You want to know our children, businesses and property are protected at all times without a tragedy needing to befall us before action occurs -- pro-active policing and that falls upon all and more mentioned above.

We will always be here for you, thus please think of your Police Officers and all of the public safety personnel in your thoughts when crisis or other tragedies may occur.   From natural disasters, threats from terrorist attacks, predators who victimize our senior citizens, children and families.

The membership of CMPA understands that our success as an organization is made possible through community support.  The support provided to CMPA allows us to reach out to different community organizations through charitable giving and various activities with citizens.  We ask that our citizens continue to stand behind us in our endeavor to make Costa Mesa the best it can be.  Please let us know how we may be of assistance to you .
